Quita Harris

A technology and program management professional bringing more than 15 years of experience to a community venture in Liberia.

Quita’s background spans IT infrastructure, cybersecurity and complex technology programs. Her work has included network and Wi-Fi upgrades, data center projects, disaster recovery initiatives and security governance. She previously served as a Security Program Manager at MarketAxess.

As a certified IT project manager, she brings experience turning ideas into practical plans, coordinating teams and partners, and guiding projects through delivery. LynkUp applies those skills to a local goal: helping people in Caldwell get online for learning, work and staying connected.

Why she founded LynkUp

LynkUp began with a personal need and a broader possibility. During a visit to Liberia to see her mother for the first time in eight years, Quita experienced how difficult and expensive it could be to access reliable, high-speed internet.

After returning to the United States, she began developing a solution that could connect her mother’s home and serve the surrounding community. That effort became LynkUp—a community Wi-Fi business created to make internet access more affordable and accessible, helping people connect with family, education, work and opportunity.

Working with the local team and K-Comm, Quita is helping develop the pilot into a service shaped by the people it serves.
